Callander is close by and is lovely for either a spot of shopping or a walk along the river.   The shops are varied ranging from The Scottish Wool Centre to exciting little boutique shops like MishMash.  And, not forgetting the one and only Christmas Shop!

Another great local attraction is The Argaty Red Kite centre, based in nearby Doune.  The centre is open all year round and its a great way of seeing these beautiful birds close up during feeding times.
